Nourishing Yin: Sunday, November 23, 17:00-19:00
I'm Petra Saktor, a certified yoga teacher offering classes in English, German, and Czech in Horgen, as well as at various other studios along Zurich's Silver Coast.
My specialty lies in Vinyasa and Yin yoga.
Vinyasa is a dynamic, fluid practice that links movement with breath and mindfulness, building strength and flexibility. Each flow can be adapted in intensity and complexity to suit your unique needs.
Yin yoga, on the other hand, is slower and more meditative, focusing on deep connective tissues to promote flexibility, relaxation and inner calm.
I create balanced yoga flows and guide you through each sequence, explaining the key aspects of every posture. Modifications are offered to suit all levels, so the class can be both challenging and enjoyable, regardless of your experience or how you feel that day.
My aim is to help you stay focused and fully engaged in your practice, allowing everything outside the mat to fade away. The ultimate goal is for you to leave feeling both physically and mentally refreshed.
I also choose music thoughtfully, using a mix including indie and chillout tunes to complement the practice and set the right tone. I hope you’ll enjoy the vibe and flow along with me.

I first discovered yoga in my twenties as a complement to my main sports at that time—Taekwon-do, a Korean martial art, and kickboxing. What began as a balance to my training quickly evolved into passion.
After earning my Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, I completed my yoga teacher training and began teaching in 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic. Since 2024, I’ve continued here in Switzerland.
